For NORD BELUGA, a Panamax Bulk Carrier, we installed an Open Loop Inline scrubber system. This is a retrofit scrubber project where we customized the scrubber design to fit into the vessel.

The Nord Beluga Open Loop scrubber solution is using seawater to neutralize the SOx of the exhaust gas without consuming any alkaline agent.

ME Production Open Loop SOx solution has been specifically designed to have as few components as possible to easy the installation process and have as compact as possible to afford more area to limited space on board.

For this project, we used the SMO254, a steel material that provides the best quality assurance and the longest durability for ships at sea.
