NEPTUNE LINES Kefalonia Inline Open Scrubber

ME Production was contracted to retrofit Neptune Lines fleet of 10 Ro-Ro Cargo vessels. In this case we retrofitted the vessel Neptune Kefalonia with an Inline SOx scrubber system to ensure the ship’s full compliance with the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) MARPOL SOx emission regulations.

The ME Production Open Loop Hybrid-ready scrubber system is installed in all of Neptune Lines Ro-Ro vessels and it offers a flexible feasibility for the ship owner. Furthermore, this option provides high flexibility of operation in low alkaline waters as well as on the open ocean.

The scrubber is produced with SMO254, a steel material that provides the best quality assurance and the longest durability for ships at sea.

Neptune Lines has great confidence in ME Production.

“MEP has a proven record for installing scrubbers in similar type of vessels. The system was simple to be understandable from the crew on board. The tailor-made design was the most suitable for the space we had inside our funnels” says Technical Superintendent Vangelis D. Dardanos, Neptune Lines.
