ME Production has entered into a strategic partnership with Everllence PrimeServ Omnicare to strengthen lifecycle support for Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS), helping shipowners and operators plan and execute scrubber maintenance more effectively during scheduled drydockings.
The regulatory backdrop
Many scrubbers installed around 2019-2020, when IMO's global sulphur cap came into force, are now reaching the point where key components need their first major overhaul. At the same time, the EU's expanding Emissions Trading System (ETS) and the new FuelEU Maritime regulation are adding further cost and compliance pressure on operators, making it more important than ever to keep existing scrubber systems performing at their best.
A joint service offering
Through the partnership, ME Production and Everllence will offer a comprehensive service package covering condition assessments, maintenance planning, repair recommendations, and execution support throughout the drydocking process. By identifying maintenance needs early and carrying out the right work while a vessel is already out of service, operators can reduce the risk of unexpected failures, avoid costly follow-up repairs, and improve equipment performance.
The collaboration combines ME Production's specialist expertise in scrubber systems with Everllence PrimeServ's global service organization, drydocking experience, and Omnicare lifecycle approach, giving customers seamless support from inspection and planning through execution and post-docking follow-up.

Next steps
Initially, the partnership will focus on inspections, maintenance, repairs, conversions, and lifecycle support for installed scrubber systems, with the goal of helping shipowners and operators maximize equipment availability, maintain regulatory compliance, extend asset life, and reduce operational risk.
