Johan Schwerin took up the role as Chief Executive Officer of ME Production on 01 August 2026, succeeding Jens Peter Faldt.
As CEO, Schwerin will focus on strengthening the company’s commercial development and market presence across the maritime and energy sectors. Schwerin brings extensive leadership and commercial experience to ME Production. His focus will be on bringing the company’s technical solutions and service capabilities closer to customers and partners, while developing new commercial opportunities.

I see a clear opportunity to build on that foundation by getting even closer to our customers, strengthening our commercial approach, and making more of what the company already does well,” says Johan Schwerin.
Schwerin succeeds Jens Peter Faldt, who founded ME Production in 2014 through the merger of Marine Exhaust Technology, Toppenberg and Mekanord. Since then, he has played a central role in developing ME Production and establishing the company as a recognised provider of marine and energy technology.
“Jens Peter has made a significant contribution to ME Production. His commitment and entrepreneurial drive have helped build the company and its technical capabilities over many years. Johan brings strong commercial experience and leadership, and I am confident he can build on that foundation and further develop ME Production’s position in the market,” says Jesper S. Jensen, Chair of the Board of ME Production.
ME Production’s relationship with TORM began with a joint venture in 2018. TORM acquired a 75% ownership stake in the company in 2022 and acquired the remaining shares in 2025, becoming the full owner of ME Production.
Under Schwerin’s leadership, ME Production will continue to develop its marine and energy solutions, drawing on its engineering expertise, established product portfolio, and global service capabilities to create value for customers and support further growth.
